2014 Graduation Message
Hindi natitinag ang pusong Pilipino
Congratulations to our proud graduates! My warmest greetings to our school administrators, teachers, staff, and parents who have helped and guided our graduates attain this significant milestone in their lives.
Today is a testimony to the enduring and resilient Filipino spirit, to our ability to stand up again and conquer the odds, to our innate optimism to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We have proven that we can surmount any adversity by sharing our light with each other in times of darkness.
Through the many challenging moments we’ve endured, many of us were tempted to give up; but a Filipino heart refuses to be broken by calamities. We see the ray of hope in the faith and joy we share with each other even in the most trying of circumstances. We may be battered but definitely never defeated.
May this year’s theme “Hindi Natitinag ang Pusong Pilipino” be a constant reminder and a source of strength that will propel each graduate to achieve more for others and the country in spite of the obstacles that will stand in the way.
For us in the schools, may this theme remind us of the energy that should continue to animate our institutions which in turn would help us give to each of our learners the best that they deserve.
Again, congratulations to our graduates! I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
Mabuhay ang lahing Pilipino! Mabuhay kayong lahat!

Ang mga malampusong kabataan, garbo ug kalipay natong tanan.
On behalf of the Department of Education, I would like to extend my warmest Congratulations to the Graduates of this School Year 2013 - 2014. You will now be reaping the fruits of your labor, the rewards of your sacrifices.
My dear graduates, sa milabayng pipila ka mga bulan, gitay-og kita sa nagkadaiyang mga katalagman, the worst of which was the super typhoon Yolanda, which destroyed hundreds of our classrooms, and thousands of our instructional materials. Apan bisan pa sa maong mga katalagman, kita ug ang Departamento sa Edukasyon, mibarog gihapon aron sa pagpadayon sa atong gimbuhaton sa edukasyon. We have shown to the world the resilience of the Filipino spirit, the spirit which enabled us to triumph over the challenges in life. Ika nga, Hindi natitinag ang Pusong Pilipino.
My dear graduates, for the past few years, you also had your different calamities, the difficult challenges that you faced in your lives as students. The hassles of waking up early just to be in school on time; the irritation brought about by pressures in your studies; and the inconvenience caused by your families' financial problems - these are but some of the many challenges that you faced in your lives as students.
However, you have bravely faced all those challenges. Like David in the Bible, you did not think of those challenges as threats too big to hit, but as targets too big to miss. Your hardwork, coupled with your strong determination, enabled you to triumph over difficulties, and to reach your dreams. Indeed, you deserve to receive your diplomas. At dahil hindi natitinag ang inyong mga puso, Mabuhay ang mga Gradwadong Pilipino ! ! !

Dear Graduates,
I could not be any prouder!
You have all remained strongly-driven despite the circumstances of the school year just past. Indeed, you are more fortunate than your counterparts in places close by; but you too had to contend with the uncertainty and constraints following nature's wrath.
In other varied ways, you may have also been besieged by obstacles in quite a number or occasions and will be fazed by a great number more in the future. Derive courage from the lessons thereof; more so, from the experiences you were privileged enough to share with your teachers and peers.
We will continue to take pride in your victory and milestones because then, we are assured that you have embodied the values we want you to carry with you at all times. We shall miss the sound of your youthful playfulness, assertiveness and even defiance but it's time to allow you to soar higher. We trust that we have molded you capable enough to find your niche in this world.
Look forward to the myriad of wonderful opportunities that are certain to unfold as a result of your persistence and hard work. Never mind your struggles. They will soon be dispelled by the sweetness of success.
Resist fear, resignation or doubt and display that indomitable spirit at all times, along with integrity, gratitude for people who helped you along the way and best of all, reverence to your Creator.
Carry the picture of all the smiling faces you see on Graduation Day for this is proof that scores of people believe that you can and will get there, however high you want to reach,. Until then, keep the faith !
Congratulations and Godspeed!

Dear graduates,
Mabuhi !
What a joyous occasion graduation is. It is a triumph for the students who have completed their academic requirements. It is an accomplishment for the faculty and school administration who have mentored the graduates through their lessons and teachings. It is a victory for the family and community who have supported our youth in preparation for the next stage in their life's journey.
Consolacion National High School - Evening Class has given you the tools and skills to face the coming challenges with confidence and faith in the path you shall undertake. Fear not adversity, it will give you character and the respect of your peers. Graciously accept your elder's advice, for we only want the full realization of your humanity.
Finally, allow me to extend my prayer that this milestone brings you a greater appreciation of life's blessings and the desire to give back in service to our fellow Cebuanos and the Filipino nation.
Congratulations dear graduates!
Godspeed!

Valedictory Address:
Miss IRISH JANE S. IDIAS - Valedictorian, SY 2013 - 2014
To our distinguished guests, respected mentors, beloved parents, fellow graduates, friends, ladies and gentleman a pleasant afternoon!
I firmly believe that success is not achieved with a snap of a finger; it is not meant to be traversed with a smooth road. In order for us to get the peak of success, we need to surpass a river of sacrifices- and that; we need to extend our patience because we will undergo the slow and long process of study and preparation.
It is quite surreal to think that after four years; after submitting dozens of projects; after burning midnight candles over hundreds of exams and over a thousand quizzes-we find ourselves here today, about to embark on a new journey as we move on the next chapter of our lives. As we march on the final steps we finally get a hold of the key to our future that is our diploma. A piece of paper that symbolizes that we successfully surpassed all the obstacles of high school, and I can proudly say: WE DID IT TOGETHER!
It is hard to believe that after this momentous event, as we set foot on our first step to a bigger world; all those experiences during high school. The lessons learned; the relationship formed; the best batch I have ever became a part of; the four walls of our classrooms will now be reduced to memories. However, as Jean Baptist masseur once said “gratitude is the memory of the heart” and for that- I will be forever be thankful for this special chapter in my life.
In this light, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all those who in one way or another has helped me in reaching for the stars .Foremost I thank our Lord who never ceases to curtain my life with his amazing grace and everything that happened in the past four years was part of His divine plan. Without Him, none of these would have been possible.
I would also like to recognize my family, my papa; mama; and brothers. I owe them my greatest gratitude. They were my foundation and my source of strength .they have been with me in all the steps of my journey they have supported me morally and financially and most importantly; they nurtured me with lessons that I will surely treasure forever.
To all my mentors who gave me the knowledge for me to build my future ahead; who molded me into a better individual ;here is my salute to all of you.
To all my closest friends and classmates, I also thank you for giving me the most unforgettable moments and for making every school day a party.
Before I reach to the finality of my speech; I would like to share what my English teacher once said ”To accomplish great things. We must not only dream, but also believe in our dreams; one must not only believe for our dreams to come true but also act on it;for it is only by then that dreams can come into reality.” We are all dreamers ,and we are all believers ,all we need to do now is to go out in our shells into the world and act on our dreams!”
Continue collecting milestones and once again congratulations!
Cheers to all the graduates !God bless on each of your journey.

Salutatory Address:
SHENNA MAE T. JARINA - Salutatorian, SY 2013 - 2014
Most honored guest, dearest principal, respected teachers, beloved parents, fellow graduates, ladies and friends, good afternoon and welcome. Welcome to our afternoon celebration of this milestone event.
It is such a wonderful feeling seeing all of you with happy faces, excitement and a joyful smile. Today is a very special day for all of us, a momentous event that we ought to remember. We have done a long way but sure enough that we are just in the middle of our journey.
Today we are here to celebrate a milestone that each one of us has worked very hard to achieve. Each one of us has waited eagerly for this day to come since we entered high school. Now we are preparing to try our wings out in the great big world that lies before us, but before we do that, we must stop and realize that none of us would be here today if it weren’t for the unconditional love, support and guidance of others, so I would like to take a moment to personally thank each one who has been there for us throughout the years.
First I would like to thank our beloved God for bringing us together as a class, forgiving us the grace to do the homework, assignments and projects that we just didn’t think we would do, and for being a friend that is closer than a brother and a sister.
To our parents and loved ones, especially to my parent and siblings, a big thank you does not seem quite sufficient for all the support, encouragement, love, discipline and time that you gave to each one of us. Your financial sacrifice is what allowed us to be a part of this class and we see now that what you gave to us is one of the most precious gifts that anyone could hope for ; the gift of an Education.
To our teachers, thank you. You have taught us far more than knowledge and book learning. The lessons we have learned from you will extend far beyond the walls of the classroom and into eternity. For that, we are forever grateful.
Last but not the least, I would like to thank my classmates, for the good times and the bad that we have shared together. You have been like my brothers and sisters. We have been through so much together, but so much is yet to come. As I think of the future, I am filled with excitement for the many opportunities that lie ahead for each one of us. I only regret that we will soon be parting ways. I will miss each one of you, but I know that God has a plan that is much greater than you I could ever imagine. And this I promise all the memories that we have shared will forever treasured in my mind and in my heart.
“High school life” gave us the opportunity to explore, to manipulate, to analyze but most of all it made us realize how we can be good citizens in our modern world.
Now we are at a great turning point in our lives. We are no longer boys and girls; rather than we are men and women. Now we will on our own; we will be tested whether we can survive life without our parent and our high school friends. Put your heart in everything you do. You have to be passionate about things in your life. You can accomplish things only when you really care about what you are doing. Step out in faith and believe. Then you can make a difference.
So as the saying of the famous Mark Twain goes, twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the one’s you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the tradewinds in your sail. Explore. Dream. Discover.
Congratulations Class of 2013-2014. I wish you all the best of luck in your lives and may we see each other again. I LOVE YOU and THANK YOU.
Again, let me welcome each one of one in this 2013-2014 Graduation Exercises.
